I loved hearing David on your 10/12 show talking about Live Picture and golden days of Mac publications. I remember how Live Picture won an "Eddy" award from MacUser back in the 90's, and I happened to be at the black-tie shing-ding when they received it. There was this mystique around the guy ("Bruno" if I recall) that wrote it. He supposedly wrote the code with pencil and paper at his mother's remote chalet in the French Alps (or something like that). And he had lackeys who would trek to the cabin and bring back the hand written pages and translate them into the computer - hilarious. The thing was pimped beyond belief as the paradigm shifting technology in 2D imaging, but of course that didnt turn out to be the case.

i still have my copy of this bogus software. i think i paid 650 bucks for it.
