There was an episode a while back where David had mentioned 2 programs and I believe he referred to them as his "Secret Weapons". 
I hope he won't have to kill me after I repeat them 
but one of them was GroBoto. It's a wild and crazy graphics program and I had to get it after I heard David's comments.
In David's on words in his MacLife review:

I wonder if we could get one of the creators of this kick arse software to be a guest and even have David there to show his appreciation of it and to ask a few interesting questions?
