On the surface, the third generation iPad is only slightly changed, being a mite heavier and a mite thicker. But underneath, Apple has added a much higher capacity battery, in part to operate that magnificent Retina Display, and to support LTE wireless networking.
Are these improvements enough for you to upgrade? Would an iPad 2 be sufficient -- or do you have someone else's tablet on your shopping list?
