Both iPad Mini and Surface Tablet are the hottest apps in the touch-screen tablet world. Just as the old saying "No mountain can accommodate two tigers", the competition between them is fierce. Here I just made a simple comparison between them.

Specs mean little in the scheme of things, since they often don't have much to do with real world performance.

You evaluate these products as much or more based on the user experience and the availability of apps.

Just to correct you: The $329 iPad mini has 16GB. Also, Windows RT is fat and bloated, with the OS and bundled apps occupying almost half of the entry-level Surface's 32GB storage capacity.
