A Special Message
This is very, very important!
We now have the option of landing on a much larger radio network, one that gives us more dedicated advertising slots per hour (less for the network), and will allow us to reach far more radio stations in larger cities than we can reach now. The network ads will also be more mainstream, which has been a source of criticism with our current arrangement.
In short, the new network connection will make The Tech Night Owl LIVE and The Paracast far more attractive to prospective advertisers.
In other words, we could, within months, solve many of our financial problems, and pay living wages to everyone involved on these shows.
Unfortunately, this opportunity doesn't come free. The network we are talking to requires that the shows pay them for the air time and support services, which include building affiliate relationships, show promotion and so on and so forth. We will get 4 minutes of ad time per hour (total 12 minutes for a three-hour episode) to sell to our own clients, and we keep all the proceeds.
In order for this arrangement to work, though, we would need over $3,500 per month working capital to sustain a network presence of this sort. I expect it will take up to a year for ad income to grow sufficiently to allow us to meet that expense and cover our own financial needs.
I can give you full details on the network and the offer if you are interested in helping this venture work, and I'd be willing to work on a proper profit participation arrangement to make it viable.
If any of you are interested, please contact me as soon as possible. This is the sort of opportunity that may not arise again.
Peace,
Gene Steinberg
P.S. Due to the nature of this offer and our current network affiliation, I'd rather not talk about it in the forums. Please contact me directly. Thanks.
