Interesting to hear a bit from Daniel Eran Dilger -
Lots of ideas - the concept of iPhone/ touch being the master of many slave sensors is huge for example.
The reason I signed up is three fold-

To talk about this more, to say the rant on consumption/ production is totally narrowsighted iLife - jeeez!
Have you seen the stats for the usage of the iPhone on flickr?
What would happen of the iPhone gets( and it will do) video recording and wifi uploading for large files?
It depends what you mean by wanting production- but for certain things Apple really tries to get users to produce. In my view iLife 09 is totally setting up for v3 iPhone.

Numerology sounds interesting (more decline of desktop against laptop for some things). Pity what it is wasn't explained to non-musical people.

Non-musical people wouldn't grok Numerology anyway, but they'll love the results when they hear what can be done with it.

For me it's not even having a chance to grok it, at a basic level, nor seeing any output of what it can do.
They've had a bash at http://www.five12.com/t.html techniques section, but don't really show fully finished products made through Numerology.

Yes, it would be nice to see some more finished products, bearing a "recorded with Numerology" logo or something similar That might even help them get more traction for this application.
