In just about every show, Gene mentions that captain Pickard has an iPad.

While that's true I wonder if you remember that the ipad was on our screens way back in 1968, while the scenes with the ipad were filmed as far back as 1966.

That's awesome. Thanks for looking this up. You can also find developments in the 1970s of iPad forerunners.

Then there's that statement from Steve Wozniak that the iPad was the culmination of what Steve Jobs wanted to achieve back in 1984. Of course, the technology didn't allow for it then.
