Is Mactheripper a stable program?

It is a hot topic that iPad mini will be available recently. I am planning to get one for watching movies and videos. I have been searching the best way to rip movies like The Dictator to the new iPad mini, and many of the tutorials I found suggest an app called Mactheripper. Is this program stable and will it harm my Mac computer? I do not want to take any risk. Compared with ripping movies, I care my computer more.

I tried mactherippe. It is not unstable enough. If you care stability and security more, you may try other programs, like Handbrake and macx dvd ripper pro Halloween edition. Both of them are free. Certainly, the decision is up to u.

I tried both the two apps. They are good, but I like macx dvd ripper more, and their webpage is wonderful.
