As you know, Steve Jobs has stepped down as Apple CEO, effective immediately, but will remain as Chairman of the Board of the company he co-founded. Tim Cook, the acting CEO, will take over that position full-time.

Having met Steve Jobs on several occasions, I do hope he will be able to use the extra time to regain his health, but he will nonetheless be active with Apple of the foreseeable future.

Your opinions about Jobs and his tenure are welcomed.
 
Since he passed away yesterday, any further speculation about him is moot. What a loss. He was a genius. May he rest in peace and may his family be comforted by the Lord and friends.
