How will this work? Lion will download from the App store to the computer that it was purchased from. How does one get it to copy to other computers?

You can download a copy on any Mac with the same Apple ID. Or download to one, copy to the others.

I need more help than that. Sorry. It must be a pretty simple process to copy the OS Lion from an iMac to a MacBook, but not simple enough for me to know how to accomplish it without some coaching.
Can you please give a few of the steps necessary to do this when it is available?
1. Download the OS app from the App Store to the iMac.
2. Turn on the MacBook.

I was hoping that there would be some explicit directions in one of your books.

There are, but I haven't done a Mac OS X book since Jaguar, so they're not readily available. The file sharing process has been pretty consistent for years, though.
